The Village of Lakewood – A walkable get-a-way

This beautiful home is located in the Village of Lakewood at the south end of Chautauqua Lake. In your front yard, you not only have direct access to a private dock; but also to the fabulous Richard Hartley Park. The highlight of Hartley Park is the brand-new, state-of-the-art playground. Tennis, basketball, picnic space, and live concerts in the summer all make this location one-of-a-kind. Behind the house, a short walk takes you to many of Lakewood’s businesses including a wonderful coffee shop, fine and casual dining options, fine wine and liquor store, gift shops and boutiques as well as the wonderful Lakewood Memorial Public Library. Don’t forget about the Farmer’s & Artisan’s Market that takes place in the summer on Thursdays.

Hop in your car and just 2 and a half miles away, you have the best grocery store in CHQ, Wegmans. There is also a Walmart, Chautauqua Mall, Starbucks, and many, many other retail and dining options in that area.

Southern Tier Brewery & Distillery – Just 5 minutes down the road in Lakewood is the famous Southern Tier Brewery and Distillery. Great food, amazing beer and spirits, and the best live music on the Lake.

Bemus Point – A short drive or boat ride across the bridge you will find Bemus Point. Restaurants, shops, and much more await.

The Chautauqua Institution – 15 minutes away you will find the world-renowned Chautauqua Institution. Dining, shopping and of course, the summer concert series are all not to be missed!

The home is only 25 miles from Peak’n Peak Resort and 40 miles to Holiday Valley Resort. Lakewood is a year-round community with businesses and restaurants open all year (hours may vary).
